First, you have to understand why people are gossiping. It’s not just because they like the attention or because they feel bad. They’re usually gossiping to repair a damaged relationship, solve a problem, right a wrong, resolve insecurity, or help someone avoid being hurt. Now that you know the reason behind it you can create an environment where everyone is able to express themselves appropriately and effectively.
